Reclaim yourself

Hi! friends happy Ganesh caturthi.welcome to prayash9.blogspot.com.As today is a auspicious day we will strart our journey of reclaiming ourselves start.We read and listen everywhere  know your self. But how ? No one tells us.If you follow spirituality you know that you are a soul ;energy. But have you experienced it ? ...No .true majority of people haven't experienced it,though we knew it through logic.  Knowledge which didn't translate in experience never become part of us. So here we will try to experience it.
We interact with our soul trough Thought . So first we know about thought because we are what we think. There are five types of though e.g.  
1)  ordinary thought
2)  Necessary thought
3)  Waste thought
4)  Negative thought
5)  positive thought

our mind is athought factory. It produces 60-70 thousands thoughts daily. today we  knew something about thought.

Ordinary Thought--  Thoughts  related to our daily routine. We don’t need any effort or planning for this kind of thought.  For example brushing teeth, bathing , going and coming from office etc.

Necessary thought ----  Thoughts  which are urgent , important are come under this category  e.g. remembering last date of paying electric bill, telephone bill, exam or admission of children, appointment with someone etc ,etc .These are necessary thought. If forgotten can create problem for us.

Waste thought --- Thoughts which are related to our past or future . It may be a bitter experience with someone or some incident of any accident or natural calamity which affected us negatively.  Thinking about them still fills us with feeling of insecurity, hatred or maybe fear, anxiety and worry. Thoughts related to our uncertain future also causes worry, anxiety, tension. Some people take too much interest in other people’s life. People love to gossip about the lives of their neighbour, cricketers,   movie star,  politician. These thoughts have no contribution in our self-development, on the contrary they make us weaker.

Negative Thought --- Thoughts related to ego, attachment, anger, greed, doubt, lust, fear, revenge, hatred, jealousy all are negative thoughts. They destroy our vital life energy .Diabetics, B.P., thyroid, ulcer, hyper-tension, joint-pain all the psycho-somatic illnesses are caused by negative thought. Rape, murder, theft all the social ills are also related to negative thinking.

Positive thinking ---  Positive thinking is related to the core values of our soul. Our thought influenced by love,   peace, purity, truth, bliss, respect etc. are positive thoughts.  Positive thoughts increases our life energy.

Now that we have a idea of types of thought. Our next step is to eliminate negative and waste thought and replace them with positive and necessary thought. How we will achieve this.we have to watch our thought for some time say for 15 days. When we are alone or we are travelling to and from our work we can practice watching our thought. This may be sound crazy to many people but believe me try it will work. When we try to watch our thoughts at first it will stop, don’t try to create new thoughts after few minutes thoughts will start flowing, just observe them. After observing for a few days you will able know your thought pattern. Becoming conscious of our thoughts is the first step towards changing them.
